Florida Correctional Officer Arrested

LIVE OAK, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ Office of the Inspector General announced the arrest of correctional officer Joshua Sosa. Sosa is charged with official misconduct and malicious battery. Secretary Mark Inch said, “The actions of this individual do not represent the thousands of positive contact hours our staff have with the inmate population each day. I commend the Office of Inspector General for their swift investigation and arrest. This behavior is not tolerated and we stand firm in our certainty that malicious behavior is unacceptable.”
