FDC Assault Advisories | December 7 – December 13, 2022

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On December 7, Inmate Cedrick Barriner (E16955) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On December 7 , Inmate Shermon Allen (T07183) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lowell Annex: On December 7, Inmate Nyera Scott (170941) assaulted an officer by striking them in their face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On December 7, Inmate Tyrone Ragins (H23459) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Avon Park Correctional Institution: On December 7, Inmate William SidneyPantaleon (I30477) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On December 7, Inmate Christopher Pinkney (I49563) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Columbia Annex: On December 8, Inmate Roy Mason (186808) assaulted an officer. by striking them in their face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Northwest Florida Reception Center: On December 8, Inmate Jason Watts (190056) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On December 9, Inmate Charlie Bishop (V19817) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On December 9, Inmate Fernandito Carpio (X81705) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On December 9, Inmate Cornelius Bell (J05782) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On December 10 , Inmate Christian Rolon (A11540) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Gulf Correctional Institution: On December 10, Inmate Demario Carter (135599) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On December 10, Inmate Michael Rivers (125510) assaulted officers by scratching their arms. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Dade Correctional Institution: On December 10, Inmate Larry Hightower (M97781) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On December 11, Inmate Henry Clarence (597187) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On December 12, Inmate Darrell Carter (P42401) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On December 12, Inmate Robert Noon (B51084) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Hardee Correctional Institution: On December 12, Inmate Eugene Bryant (R36784) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On December 13, Inmate Darrell Carter (P42401) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
