FDC Assault Advisories | April 19 – April 25, 2022
This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.
Union Correctional Institution: On April 19, Inmates Ronnell Lowe (Y80168) and John Dukes (R22879) assaulted an officer by striking them in the head. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmates were subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Reception & Medical Center: On April 19, Inmate Quinton Lockett (K30819) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Avon Park Correctional Institution: On April 19, Inmate Timothy Hester (132754) assaulted an employee. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On April 20, Inmate Delonte Miller (C90119) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
South Bay Correctional Facility: On April 20, Inmate Jeriah Woody (B12655) assaulted an officer by hitting them in the torso. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Desoto Annex: On April 20, Inmate Kerven Orvil (B41253) assaulted an officer by pulling their hands through the cuffing portal. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On April 20, Inmate Bailey Dickson (149625) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Hardee Correctional Institution: On April 21, Inmate Daunte Oats (N29391) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On April 21, Inmate Antonio Butler (G21162) assaulted officers by kicking them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.
Walton Correctional Institution: On April 22, Inmate Delroy Thomas (W44101) assaulted an officer by jerking his hands while restraints were being removed. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Gulf Correctional Institution: On April 22, Inmate Lorenzo White (X12376) assaulted officers by hitting and biting them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officers and noted injuries.
Florida State Prison: On April 23, Inmate Labron Rodgers (488056) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
Hamilton Correctional Institution: On April 24, Inmate Arthur Akins (167843) assaulted an officer by striking them in the head, face and upper torso with his fists. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Graceville Correctional Facility: On April 24, Inmate Gerardo Gomez (B13046) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
Charlotte Correctional Institution: On April 25, Inmate Alfred Vaughan (A51978) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.
