FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS

FDC Assault Advisories | April 26 – May 2, 2022

This is a report of assault advisories that occurred during the specified timeframe. An assault advisory is issued by the Department of Corrections whenever a correctional officer or probation officer is attacked in the line of duty. All assaults are investigated, and disciplinary action is imposed in accordance with policy.

Dade Correctional Institution: On April 26, Inmate Brandon Stevens (U41756) assaulted officers. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Desoto Annex: On April 26, Inmate Isaac Holmes (B08961) assaulted an officer by grabbing their wrist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Jefferson Correctional Institution: On April 26, Inmate William Weil (S37689) assaulted an officer by striking them in the knee with his walker. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Okeechobee Correctional Institution: On April 26, Inmate Kamari Sherrell (E54518) assaulted an officer by kicking them in the chest. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Lake Correctional Institution: On April 26, Inmate Raheem Morris (J46020) assaulted an officer by elbowing them in the eye. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Okaloosa Correctional Institution: On April 26, Inmate Kevin Johnson (N10892) assaulted an officer by striking their cheek with his head and grabbing their arm. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Wakulla Correctional Institution: On April 27, Inmate Stephen Krimmel (N14672) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Florida State Prison: On April 27, Inmate Christopher Sanders (R24565) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On April 27, Inmate Kalvin Youman (N18347) assaulted officers by striking them with his fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Central Florida Reception Center: On April 28, Inmate Jordan Faulk (R93566) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

South Florida Reception Center: On April 28, Inmate Guillermo Lopez (186654) assaulted an officer by charging into them and hitting them in the shoulder. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Apalachee Correctional Institution: On April 28, Inmate Joshua Lilly (Q25678) assaulted officers by striking them with a food tray. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Charlotte Correctional Institution: On April 28, Inmate Kalvin Youman (N18347) assaulted an officer by grabbing them. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Desoto Annex: On April 29, Inmate Brandon Dunnell (J43750) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Bridges of Cocoa: On April 30, Inmate Trevon Daughtry (E43433) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Graceville Correctional Facility: On April 30, Inmate Charles Carpenter (N16880) assaulted an officer. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued.

Santa Rosa Annex: On April 30, Inmate Barry Seabrook (614101) assaulted an officer by punching them in the face. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Mayo Annex: On May 1, Inmate Antonio Craft (213012) assaulted an officer by striking them on the left side of the head with a tray. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Dade Correctional Institution: On May 2, Inmate Eliyas Negron (S41974) assaulted an officer by striking them in the face with a closed fist. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.

Jackson Correctional Institution: On May 2, Inmate Aaron Wilson (G04085) assaulted an officer by kicking them in the chest. Staff responded appropriately, and the inmate was subdued. Medical staff examined the officer and noted injuries.
