Florida Correctional Officer Arrested

SNEADS, Fla. — The Florida Department of Corrections’ (FDC) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) announced the arrest of Correctional Officer Tiffany Pearson. Pearson is charged with introduction of contraband, interference with an inmate and unlawful use of a two-way communication device.

Pearson was arrested in Decatur County, Georgia and is currently being held on no bond pending extradition to Florida. The OIG acknowledges the cooperation and assistance provided by State Attorney Glenn Hess of the 14th Judicial Circuit of Florida and the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office.
