Thursday & Friday Visitation Canceled at FDC Incentivized Facilities

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.  — Today, the Florida Department of Corrections (FDC) announced the cancelation of visitation for the following incentivized facilities for Thursday, November 10, and Friday, November 11, in response to Tropical Storm Nicole. Impacted facilities are:

  • Lowell Correctional Institution
  • Marion Correctional Institution
  • Sumter Correctional Institution
  • Tomoka Correctional Institution

FDC staff are working to prepare these facilities for the potential impact of Tropical Storm Nicole. FDC looks forward to resuming normal visitation at these facilities as soon as possible.
